Free range beef in Walla Walla, Washington
Knowles Family Farms raises the best tasting, highest quality beef for your family.
farming with love, not chemicals.

Knowles Family Farms is a small family owned company. We care and love our team and community. We started from humble beginnings with a long-history in farming. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that many traditional farming practices have a long-term impact on the people who run them. Our father, Brent Knowles, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease after prolonged exposure to pesticides. After his diagnosis, he set out to learn everything he could about chemical free farming and committed to raising the highest quality, free-range, affordable beef for everyone in our local community. Though he lost his battle with the disease in early 2024, he left a legacy of deep love for God’s creation, generosity toward all, and faithful stewardship in his life and work. At Knowles Family Farms, we are committed to honor this legacy. We farm healthier so you can eat healthier. We invite you to taste and see the difference for yourself.
Meet the crew that keeps the farm running
Eleazer & Edith
Eleazar and Edith handle nearly every task on the farm. They move cattle, build fences, cut hay, and more, working from sunrise to sunset to care for the farm and animals. At age 9, Eleazar learned responsibility by helping with the family cattle where he developed a bond with them. Today, he knows each of our cows by name. For 25 years, Eleazar and Edith have been vital to the Knowles Family Farm. Married for 27 years, they enjoy time with their three children and grandbaby. On a rare night out, you might catch them Banda dancing together.
Jaime
During the day, Jaime (pictured on left, with his parents) works for the family plumbing business, but is also part of farm life. In 1999, God placed him on our doorstep looking for work for himself and his younger brothers. Soon after, Eleazar and their three younger brothers joined him. The Knowles family is forever grateful for our crew's hard work and commitment — our farm wouldn't exist without them. They feel like family.
Farm hands
Marley (pictured) knows every inch of the farm. She is gentle and affectionate, living and breathing every minute of farm life. Watching her and her helpers Gordo and Gitana move the herd is a thing of beauty.
