Achieving the official “certified organic” label can take five years of practicing organic before receiving the certification label and the upkeep is arduous. It’s not something we are currently pursuing but you can feel confident in the standards we set for ourselves to provide the best, top quality beef for your family.

Currently we have a herd of 150 Black Angus cows. Generally Black Angus tastes better and is more tender than other beef. This is attributed to the meat's marbling.

Unfortunately, our beef is only available for local pickup in the Walla Walla vicinity.

Yes! While there are some limitations (for example, ribs are not available for ¼ cow purchases), you can choose the cuts you would like when your reservation request becomes available. Regardless of the size of your purchase, most orders are approximately: 30% steaks, 30% roasts, and 40% ground beef & stew meat.

We charge $8.99/lb ($7.99/lb for the meat plus $1/lb cut & wrap fee paid directly to the butcher), so the total cost will vary based on weight of the steer. Our average cows range from 420 lbs of total packaged meat.
